Apparently white lith can dry up quicker than better choices.  I use
amsoil synthetic multipurpose grease.  I feel it's a great choice of
grease for all applications I've come across with my vanagons.  I use it
in the CVs, wheel bearings, pilot bearing, linkage, etc etc etc...
