Dear Mass. based Vanagon owners:

I have a 84 Vanagon Wolfsburg Camper, 163,000 miles (engine has 50,000).

I am wondering what you pay for insurance.  At step 10 and 6% AAA discount
I am currently being quoted between $1120 and $1235 for 100,000/300,000 and
$1000 deductible on Comp. and Collision.

I am also wondering how you have dealt with the appraisal of the actual
worth of your vehicle.  Have you taken it to be appraised?  Is it worth
it?  Can you recommend an appraiser who understands the camper? Should I
just take photos?
