Last time I talked to mark Drillock in Oceanside he mentioned the idea of
going to Mission Bay.

Seems like a good idea to me to meet for a half day picnic sometime.

Subject: Get together in San Diego?

A local list member just contacted me and so we both got to wondering if
there is such a Vanagon celebration in San Diego County. I've corresponded
with a couple other local list members who seemed like good folk as well as
fans of Vanagons. Is there any interest in a gathering of some sort. If no
one wants to deal with a campground, we could circle the "wagens" at a
day-time Padre game or even a Wal-mart parking lot.
