you are correct about the mexi-beetle conversions.  there is a company in
Nogales, AZ that specializes in this.  i think it's around 7-9K for a NEW
beetle from mexico.  wish we could buy the new SA vanagons too!  oh well, i
have grown fond of continuously fixing up my 87 syncro....what would i do
with my time if i had a NEW CAR!!!!
