I just had head gasket replaced in 84 westy due to coolant leak.  Now my temp
and gas guage are frozen.  They are to the far left and won't move.  They
worked before the head gasket was replaced.  What could the problem be?

Also when I start engine, the battery and oxs lights come on and stay on
until I tap accelerator.  Is this normal as the lights never stayed on before
like this.  Thanks for any advice.
