I did this using adapters from NAPA about 5 years ago, Sam.  I think I
had to buy two short hoses, too.  It worked fine.  I have also "patched"
a leak in the steel hoses using a short  section of hose, slit open, and
hose clamps.

I used to work in Aerospace design & engineering, you know.  Currently
Farming in Iowa.  Lots tougher.
