Here are some of the long-term provisions that live in our van all the
time

*       Powdered eggs
*       Low-fat Spam
*       Turkey Spam
*       Canned condensed soups
* Cracked grain cereal (Like Wheatena)
*       Powdered milk
*       BisquickR
*       Raisins, Prunes, Apricots, Dates
*       Banana chips
* Freeze-dried veggies (carrots, peas, corn)
*       Powdered instant potatoes
*       Peanut butter
*       Popcorn
* Canned Beans (Frijoles Refritos y Negros)

We generally take some of the following, pre-chilled, or completely
frozen in ZipLockR storage bags before leaving for a typical 3-5 day
jaunt:

*       Vegetarian Chili
*       Chicken/onions/celery in yellow gravy
*       Tortillas
* Eggs, broken, scrambled, and in a Ziplock
*       Block o' cheddar
*       Apples
* Fresh veggies (including cooking veggies like onions/peppers
etc. chopped in bags)
*       Concentrated Fruit Juice

If we were to stay out for longer, the menu might be different.

I hope I don't start another veggie war with this...

What foods do you use for long-term camping? Something that requires
minimum refrigeration yet is reasonably healthy?

Obviously I can't keep meet just cool for a week and still expect it not
to
kill me. Donuts are out of the question. Milk does not keep for long.

Beef jerky?
Smoked fish?
Tortilla bread?
Cheese?
