Not to bad mouth someone I know nothing about; but...

I was contacted recently about running a carfax report for a local list
member who had purchased a vanagon recently from this suto dealer (if I
remember correctly). Seems the mileage was misstated, or the odometer didn't
work, or something similar, but when the owner contacted the dealer, she (or
he) got the royal post-sale brush off. I know, Caveat Emptor and all, I was
just trying to Caveat all the Emptor's  out there. With that info, and the
wrong year listed in the ad, I would hesitate to make any claims that these
people know much about Vanagons. Maybe that's bad, maybe it's good, maybe
nobody cares.
