I am having a problem trying to light the fridge on my '85 Westy. Just for some background, I have spent alot of time in the archives looking at info about lighting the fridges. I have also been out to California and witnessed Sorin (California Campers) light one, so I am not totally clueless. This is my first Westy that I have owned personally. I took the fridge out, cleaned everything up (including the pan where the gas burner is) and installed two new Radio Shack computer fans to replace the cheesy stock fan. I can see that my ignitor is sparking, I have gas as my burners on the stove will light. But the fridge just doesn't seem to want to light. I have checked the air intake and the exhaust pipes and they are both clear. Any ideas or help? Is there anything that would stop the gas from getting to the burner besides the valves (they are open when I am trying to light it?) Any help would be appreciated.
