Subject:Re: spare tire compartment gas can?????

I notice that this gas can has the fill spout on the side and not the top. I
do not see why a small plastic gas can can not work just as well as long as
it is thin enough. I've been keeping my eye out for a lower than $80 cost
for a plastic can that will fit in the tire with perhaps some padding around
(like that foam carpet padding.)

Any reason to not use plastic?

He doesn't seem to have any listed now but they come up from
time to time.

Thanks,
Chris
