i see nothing wrong with minor improvements for comfort and practicability.  
i installed some REAL speakers in my doors, down low, they look great and 
sound even better.  the key to this is buy blaupunct stereo components... 
it's german and it's still cooooooooooool,  not to mention pretty good 
quality.
