William...I have a friend who has one of these. He has a family and they use
the "attached" version most of the year, either to stay out of direct sun or
wet weather. Particularly good for larger groups of adults that don't want
to squeeze into the 4-sleeping situation in the van. He also has an awning
and so this creates a little space but can be made open to create access to
each area, in the tent or the van. I'm single so the awning which creates
some shade/protection for me outside my van is more than enough. Different
strokes....
They are very cool for those that like them.
