What is a drive away tent A Chevy and a motel? I ask myself the same question when I add up what I've spent so far ($6,000 on improvements and $11K for the van.) Did I buy a money pit or an adventure? Love my vanagon. Love the improvements. Love this list. Love to restore it and upgrade the van, but will still go with an unattached tent option if I ever go there. I guess I'll be missing the total experience until I see someone who has it set up and can convince me it is worth the upgrade. By the way what does still half unattached mean exactly? Seriously!
