Hello Earl, The knob on my sink went kaput some time back, so I merely installed a bypass for the switch: I used a tiny toggle switch (Radio Shack) mounted neatly on the top portion of the black knob. A small hole was drilled through the knob to accommodate the switch and secure it. If you choose this method, just find a toggle that's small enough to fit in the space between the top of the knob and the kitchen lid in it's closed position. Pmail me if you'd like a photo. Anyone have any neat ideas or experience with this? Earl
