The rectangular European headlights are unique to the Vanagon.  The inner
lights are also common with the later style Scirocco.  The H4s are a little
pricey but worth it!

Because I have the rectangular headlights ('90 Westy) and don't really
want to change to the SA grill/light combo, and because I see E-Code
rectangular replacements would require a second mortgage, this question
comes to mind:  What other vehicles should I look for in the wrecking
yard that I could pull the rectangular E-Code headlights from?
