I just bought my 1.9L '85, and gave it a full tune up with a new O2 sensor and all and had it pass CA smog and everything. And it too runs really rich on start-up. -eric ------ Eric Spletzer San Francisco, CA '85 Vanagon GL Westy On 5/5/02 12:22 PM, "jhlauterbach" <jhlauterbach@MSN.COM> wrote: > Marshall, my 1.9 is fully tuned up, runs better than it ever has, but it > runs rich on start up, particularly if van has been in hot sun all day and > outside air temp is above 75 deg.
