Chris, there are only so many reasons why an engine won't start. An engine needs: Intake Air Compression Spark Fuel Exhaust flow and the timing to be correct for it to start. Start going down this list and checking off the things that you have tested and are correct. A good mechanic is like a good detective. You start by crossing off suspects from your list until there is only one name left and then that must be the killer (too many Remington Steele re-runs :) Thanks, Ken Wilford John 3:16 http://www.vanagain.com Phone: (856)-327-4936 Fax: (856)-327-2242 -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com]On Behalf Of Chris Winesette Sent: Monday, May 06, 2002 7:13 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Engine still won't START! Ok per the lists recomendation i turn the valve adjustment screw in untill it just touches and then 1/4 more of a turn, AND THE ENGINE STILL WILL NOT START. It just cranks over and over and over, but no start ???????
