just took my first way-off-road syncro westy camping trip :-) besides the
blown rear shocks (yes, both are dripping fluid...) the syncro was key. 4
shallow yet long river crossings, low gear up and down some hills. 40
miles on dirt each way :-) Where? North Eastern oregon about 50 miles NE
of Joseph in the wallowa national forest. So yes, syncro westy is a nice
rig to have around :-)  I would have not made this trip in a 2wd. No way.
