Hello all,

Like many others I see out there, the roof of my 88 Westy is faded. I'd like
to paint it, and I'm looking for tips:

-First, I'm assuming there's no way to restore the current paint, as you
might with the body by using a rubbing compound. Am I correct?

-What kind of paint would I use?

-Any particular tips on prep work?

-What should I treat the finished paint with to keep it from fading?

Any other tips from anybody who has done this project would be greatly
appreciated. My paint color, by the way, is Titian metallic red.
