It is not good to swap the axle! Why!
The little ball inside won't like there new home, they will get very mixed
up and mad because they will be tighter.. The result will be an immediate
(or not so immediate, maybe in 5 years after 250K miles) explosion, the
little balls and other little parts will go trough your transmission and
engine core, they will also perforate all fuel line resulting in a big
Westy fire in the middle of the night near nowhere. Another country will
see that in their radar and will think that this is an alien invasion.
Maybe some other country will think that this is a nuclear attract and will
react by making all kind of wasserboxer engine and axles at cheap price.
They will sell new and more advance axle with no ball bearing, so this
doesn't happen again and peace can be kept on earth.

All westy owners will have "ball free" axle, they will work with nuclear
power and will last well over 15K miles. The price should be reasonable,
well below $700 each with at foreign warranty covering only the boot.

Lol, Ben
