I drove with my emergency brake on down a 6 mile long canyon road. My brakes
were not as responsive as before and my emergency brake pulled up further
before engaging. I did the drum-brake adjust maneuver, backing up fairly
fast 2-3 times and stopping abruptly. That improved the braking. I then did
the parking brake adjust procedure, tightening the nut on the adjuster at
the "Y" underneath where the cable coming from the front "Y's" and goes back
to each drum. Worked great.
