To you newbies this subject doesn't mean much----
However for you long timers here --remember the debate several years ago
regarding the non- availability of Halon fire extinguishing apparatus,
due to it's environmental short comings?

I stood on my head, trying to explain that in fact it is still
available, and oh--no----the mad men swore there was no way----

Well, today at lunch I was paroosing through a new copy of Hemmings
Motor news----and lo and behold----

A big dollar color paged ad-----

" Halon Fire Protection"--
" Halon is the most effective extinguishing agent available---no residue
that can destroy your cars interior, engine, electrical system, or
paint---Colorless, orderless, non staining, non conductive"---

             H3R
Full service Halon Specialist

I knew damn well the stuff was still available---and for you
non-believer's, again Terrence has come through--

The picture in the ad looks just like the size of the extinguisher in a
Westy----diameter and all--only it's chrome plated---

Probably would look neat in the stock mounting position---

HALON FOREVER !!!!!!
