It's probably those cheap tires! ;-) Karl Wolz ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alan Pickersgill" <alanpick@MAGMA.CA> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Sunday, May 19, 2002 7:46 AM Subject: Loud noise - front Seeking advice. On a recent trip I had a noise that I have had a few times now - always when driving in significantly high wind - seems like it depends on the angle of wind to the van. Comes on suddenly and is a very loud drumming - sound like is coming from the grill area. I'm assuming it is something loos that begins to vibrate when buffeted by wind at a given velocity and direction. Very loud and annoying. I haven't started to investigate. Anyone experienced this?
