go for a steam cleaner.  these things are really nice.  make sure you vacuum
really well before hand , then steam clean it.  i use a bissell brand
cleaner.  these can be rented also at wall-mart/target/ect...places......
if not that, then vac real well, use a commercial upholstr/carpet cleaner.
then vacuum again!!!
