I been thinking of using heat shink wrap on a daily basis to prolong my
wiper blade life----the stuff they use on boats----

I find that wrapping my whole van in Saran wrap during the winter,
spring, summer and fall seasons can prolong the life of my wiper blades.
Just make sure you carry a utility knife. Plastic cling wrap can
sometimes self-seal. That can be problematic when you need to come out
of the van to reseat any edges which become undone.
