I checked the message archives and could find nothing concrete on whether or not there is a difference in Westy and non-Westy springs as far as spring wire diameter.  I only came across differences in overall length.  Does anybody know for sure?

I'm wanting to lower the front end of my 84' Westy, but I'm not ready to 'spring' for a new set of springs right now.
