I run Firestone Firehawk R4S tires 27x8.5 R14 at 50 PSI front and back.  Why
the bigger tires?  A) availability B) cost C) ride quality D) I love the way
they look E) lower RPM on the highway where I do most of my driving F)
weight rating.  A friend tried them on his '89 and he loves them too.  The
tire wear has been satisfactory as well.
