I'm using the Mann 719/5 filter on my I4 RV engine mounted at 50. This filter does not have the anti-drainback flap, so 35%, or so, of the oil in the filter drains out after I turn of the ignition. It takes a couple of seconds for the pressure gauge to spring to life and the oil light to go off. Once I use my supply of 719/5s I'll get a Mann filter with the anti-drainback flap. -Dana- > On my 85, just after changing the oil, it would typically take 2 seconds or > so for the light to go off which, in my mind, seemed like an eternity. > Normally it goes off almost instantly. > > Dave in KC >>Typically, how long should it take for the indicator to go out when >> > strating > >>the van in the morning? >> >>1, 2 or 3 seconds? >> >>William
