Hello to all power steering/hydraulic gurus

I am trying to find a power steering pump that runs the reverse direction as
the motor for a TDI project. What are the issues--pump flow? VW doesn't seem
to have any that run reverse. Any favorite brands that won't compromise the
quality of my van?
