The battery box under the front passenger seat on my '87 Westy has two circular vent holes on the front side of the box. One vent hole has a corrugated plastic (?) elbow leading to the outside, the other vent hole is not covered at all, which would explain the rust accumulation inside the box. Does anyone know if there should be elbows or some other sort of baffle on both vent holes?
