Tracy - I believe that '85 and up are all interchangeable, I just put an '87 door on an '85, no problems. The one thing to watch for is that many of the newer doors have the large trim panels attached to the outside bottom. They are removable but there are bracket holes to deal with.

> Hi, I have a pretty big dent in my sliding door, I was able to find one Vanagon at the junkyard, and it has it's sliding door. I was just wondering .......will it fit mine? I have an 85' GL, and I have no clue as to what the one at the junkyard was. It wasn't a Westy, so it must be a GL or something, but are all the doors on Vanagons standard? Or do I have to go by year? I don't want to go get this thing, and waste my $ if it's not gonna fit.
