I think so too. Unfortunately the last production run is being made
in South Africa now, to be replaced by the rotten T4!

Holden (Australian GM) sourced engines from the R31 Nissan Skyline
for its VL-series Commodores. Why couldn't VW KEEP the RSA vans in
production and source powertrains from Subaru?
