Yep, the tools yu carry will depend on your skill level. My ex-brother in law
always carried enough tools to just about completely rebuild the vehicle. It
seemed that there was always a couple of hundred pounds of tools in back of
his Pathfinder 1-ton 4WD Chevy Camper.

His sister (my-ex) was equally handy. She brought her best tools: 1)
cellphone, 2) AAA card, & 3) my Visa card. = )
