Stan- I was thinking exactly the same thing as the storm rolled in about 8pm on Saturday. We got some pretty stiff wind, a LOT of rain and a little hail to boot. So it worked out for the best. Sorry you and Andy couldn't make it; there were several Vanagon Westys present, although mine was the only standard transporter in attendance. It was a beautiful afternoon, and there were plenty of cars and buses to look at, so we had a good time. Again, sorry you couldn't make it, and keep me posted regarding other events in the general vicinity. Take care- JJ >I am one happy camper that I didn't attend the Bethany show. >Torrential rains and winds gusting 70 mph blasted through Dallas at about >10:30 Saturday night. >I sat watching the same thunderstorm on the weather channel as it was >passing through OK City and the North / South thunderstorm line. >I survived a Tornado sitting in the Ramada in right near the Bethany road >off 39th Expressway (old Rt. >66).
