Can't help you there. I did town my van however for 365km, up hill &
down, with an A-frame, towcar being my 1.8 diesel FWD Corolla wagon.
No problems.

Your van should tow an MX-5 no problems, I'd think. I towed a 36 Chev
coupe rod with my 1600 66 Kombi... pulled it fine.
