I have the Bosch relays installed in my van and the lights work much better
than stock.  Not H4 80/100s mind you like my GTi (i.e. dual suns at ground
level) but they do the job adequately.  If you want serious lighting,
installing aftermarket lamps with H4 bulbs on the bumper is a good idea and
probably cheaper than replacing the main lights with E code lights.
