I just acquired a complete Subaru SVX, since the 1.9L motor for the 85'
Westy is getting real tired.
Who out there in vanagon list land has done the conversion.........I have
ordered the parts from Kennedy
But I will still need to work out the details for the coolant plumbing and
the exhaust.........
the motor has around 240 HP w/ about 230 ft lbs of torque........w/ that low
Vanagon gearing ,. this thing
is going to be real fast out of the hole..........I also have to work out
such things as tach, and coolant temp
gauges.......I have the whole car, which by the way, I will be selling
.....nice suede interior....lots of goodies...the car ran perfectly
I almost didn't want to rip the engine out.......
