I have serviced my CV joints on our 87's before (replaced boots, etc.)
but somehow always had little containers of grease supplied. I suppose
that these greases were somehow selected to be compatible with the
material that boots are made of as well as their lubricating properties.
I want to put in new grease now while I have the axles out of the
vehicle. Does anyone know the best grease to use. I especially do not
want to degrade the boots by using the wrong lube.
