<P>What about just painting the glass of the bulb with latex paint (winsor-newton...). So you try purple, or red, or even a really gross yellow. Brush it on with a sable brush to avoid brush strokes for an even light pattern... You could even have one side one color and the other side another color... (I mean compartments)<BR><BR></P></DIV>

<DIV></DIV>&gt;Check out this link for a cheap, do-it-yourself method of changing
<DIV></DIV>&gt;the
<DIV></DIV>&gt;color of instrument panel lights:

<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;Hi,
<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;Has anyone had experience with filters to change the colour of your
<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;dashboard lights? I would be interested in hearing your comments.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;The ones
<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;available here in Australia are made by Narva and slip over the
<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;globe
<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;itself. The colours available are green, blue, orange and red. If
<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;so, which
<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;colours work the best?
<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;Has anyone thought of putting a relay on the dash board lighting
<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;circuit to
<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;boost the output (brighten the dashboard lights) or is the voltage
<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;reduced
<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;somewhere in the circuit?
<DIV></DIV>&gt;&gt;
