For about a year, my '84 wasserboxer ran with the needle just to the left of the center of the LED on the temp gauge. About a month ago, I notice it was running about a full needle width the the left of the LED. I finally got around to replacing the thermostat, temp gauge sender, and the radiator, and it's still running at the same temperature! When I ground the sender's wire, the LED blinks and the gauge starts its way all the way to the right. I've cleaned the wire, and used pliers to tighten its grasp on the sender. I've rulled out a lot. Maybe the sender has lost calibration of some sort? Maybe I'm worried all for not?? Comments? Thanks, Brad State College, PA
