Volks, My odometer quit odding. Mathew p of Idaho fame said Palo Alto Speedo could supply the replacement gears for 17 except they had a minimum order of $25. A local [Sacramento] speedo shop has the parts and said they'd sell me both the plastic outer and pot metal inner gear for $15 but... They said to replace the inner pot metal one is not a home guy job and if you just replace the plastic outer it will fail in 2-6 months because the inner one is no good. $85 to replace both. How says the list? Just glue the inner pot metal gear to the shaft or pay the piper? Mike By the way my oil light is not burned out, works to show that 30 wt is not enough for 100 degree weather but doesn't come on when the key is turned on [but the engine isn't running] Another magnetic declination of the moons of Jupiter problem?
