Not what I read, but the design speed using a 25.6" tire. Note that most vanagon speedometers over read by at least 4%. I would like to be able to go faster since the speed limits on the interstates near me are 75 mph? what speed does the Manual 4 speed 2.1L do at 4,000 rpm? Anyone ever heard of switching from AT to manual? Can bigger gears be installed in the AT to give a higher ground speed? Thanks, Andrew Fox 86 Westy 2.1L
