Today I finished the reassembly and filled the oil and coolant.  I used
plain water in lieu of a water/antifreeze mix... I want to make darn sure I
have no leaks before I put the real stuff back in the cooling system.
Well, what do you know... I have a new leak, right where that rigid pipe
goes into the water pump, sealed with only that little O ring.

I'll worry about that later.  My main problem is that when I tried to start
it, nothing happened.  NADA.  Battery was good; headlights didn't dim when I
turned the ignition switch.  Clearly no juice getting to the starter motor.
Looks like I may have screwed something up.
