I liked the ride, my wife did not, she does not like bumps... It all stems from when she was in the womb, her mother went over some rough road, she jammed her feet into her moms rib cage and has not liked bumps since... I thought my springs were worn out and the slow righting after a curve with a passenger and the sway of the van in the curves. But it was an inadequate sway bar to control the weight of the Vanagon. The ride, to me, WAS fine except for rough roads, then it was bumpy. Changing the springs was a comprise to me getting the sway bars. Another factor was I put my 15" rims on with Argils 205 x 65 x 15" tires. I will change out and test with 14" for comparison. My 7 month old son is grabbing my laptop as I write this... Robert
