For as long as I have owned this van (4 years) I have NOT had the plastic top to the
metal oil filler tube.  Now let me be exact - I've been missing ALL of the plastic not
just the extension tube that is inside the other plastic tube. (I've been gerry-rigging a
plug for the tube).

Now I have another filler tube but there is a hole in the metal part but the plastic is
good.  SOOOOO   How do I separate the outer plastic tube from the metal tube that
bolts to the engine.  I know that the inner plastic tube just pulls out, but how do I get
the outer plastic tube to separate from the metal part of the tube assembly.  Have I
been clear in my question????    Thanks,  Malcolm
