And that Marshall, is why I have a vanaogon or three, but they are not what
I rely on to get me to work everyday.
I really like my vanagons... when I choose to drive them.

And then there is the '92 Toyota PU. 149,000 miles (180,000km) an less than
a grand in total maintenance/repairs/etc in the 10 years I have owned it.

It just passed CA smog the way it always does... with almost no discernable
emmisions and not even a tuneup this time.

I know when I get out there in the AM, the truck will start. Every time.

(of course, so will the 84 vanagon, but that's because it's not run hard,
and it knows it can't screw me over)

Get a real vehicle and then you can LOVE your vanagon once again.
