I am having an occasional hard start problem in my 81
aircooled. sometimes after it has been running and
then shut off it is difficult to start back up. It
cranks over fine but doesnt fire up right away. After
some time cranking it over and holding the pedal to
the floor it will finally fire. It runs great
otherwise.  what should I look at?

I tried searching the archives but I couldnt get
anything, just a time-out error message.
