NAPA 8024 is a perfect fit replacement for VW 251 121 083G which is used on
83-85 vans up to chassis #24F060000. The NAPA has a very, very slight S bend
in it's length but the ends are a perfect fit as is the length and
everything else about it.

My van came with the NAPA on it when I got it, and when I replaced all the
hoses my hose kit came with that too large a hose that is used on the later
vans. So I went to NAPA and bought a new 8024 and haven't had a weep since.
Ok, so maybe I've whined now and then... : )
