Someone posted on rear brakes and I deleted before I commented. At least on '85's it's very easy to put the shoes in backwards. They fit and the brakes work fine. It's just that you can't adjust them, manually or by backing up and braking. So make darn sure you put them in correctly. $1000 sounds like way to much. JMHO Mike
