In checking the coolant level recently, I noticed a hole in the back of the overflow tank. Apparently, this was caused by heat from the engine being transferred through the A/C compressor housing. The compressor, while not touching the coolant tank, is in close enough proximity to melt the plastic of the tank. In thinking about how to avoid a recurrence of this problem, it occurred to me that there might be some kind of thin material with insulating and/or heat reflective properties that I could glue onto the back of the replacement coolant overflow tank. Can anyone recommend such an item? Ray Reinhard '86 TiiCo Westy Camper GL
